*Mother plants and seedlings from nursery stock are tested yearly in August
by a 3rd party laboratory for viruses (including Blueberry scorch carlavirus
and Blueberry shock ilarvirus) using the ELISA protocol (growers will be
provided with a record of test results)
*J.R.T. Nurseries Inc. growing practices are in accordance with the accepted
protocol (some areas have quarantines in place which J.R.T. plants meet)
*Plants to be shipped are inspected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency
for any diseases and a phytosanitary certificate must be issued prior to
plants leaving Canada
*J.R.T. Nurseries Inc. is certified for Sudden Oak Death (SOD).
*Plants arriving at International destinations are inspected according to
each areas regulations and quarantines.
