Ornamental Plants

JRT Nurseries has just over twenty acres of greenhouse growing area and 230 acres of container growing area.  We are very proud of the facilities and the capacity we have for growth & development.


Our primary ornamental growing takes place on two sites in Aldergrove, BC and in Lynden Washington.  Our 272nd St. site is the location of our lab and most of our hoop houses and greenhouses.  At this site we do all our propagation and growing of liners and plugs.  When the plant material has reached the transplanting stage they are moved to our 264th St. and/or Lynden Sites. This is where we do the potting and growing of material into finished product.  


Due to our extensive collective experience and advanced growing systems, we have an extremely high success rate for the viability of our plugs, liners and finished product.  We are extremely pleased with our plug/liner quality and their healthy fibrous root systems.

JRT Nurseries takes all cuttings from healthy, virus-tested mother stock and propagate them in strict disease-free environments to ensure the healthiest and most robust plug for our own use, as well as for the use of our clients and customers.
